I am an oil paint and oil pastel landscape painter inspired by atmosphere, low glowing light, and the quiet magic of nature. Growing up in the Yorkshire countryside filled me with a lasting sense of wonder at familiar landscapes, where mist, deep shadows, and moody skies sparked my imagination. I spend much of my time walking in the places I love, noticing how light moves through trees and across water, and it is this feeling of being there that guides my intuitive approach in the studio. Using expressive marks, rich contrasts, and areas of luminous low light, I create landscapes that feel real yet gently enchanted, places of warmth, hope, and quiet sanctuary.
